The MAB-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre will respond to all media inquiries. These must be forwarded to the Centre’s Communications Department, part of its administrative services.

Please note that the MMRC must respect and maintain the confidentiality of all information pertaining to our clients.

The MAB‑Mackay Clients and Staff Will Be Manning the Oars During the Upcoming Montreal Challenge Dragon Boat Competition
Dedicated to teamwork excellence

It all began in early May this year when a number of MAB-Mackay's staff members from various clinical disciplines, as well as blind and visually-impaired clients, got together to form the Caravela Dragon Boat Team.

The MAB‑Mackay Rehabilitation Centre and the Constance-Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre confirm their merger project
The Constance‐Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre and the MAB‐Mackay Rehabilitation Centre are reiterating their desire to pursue a merger of the two establishments.

This past July, the board of directors of the Constance‐Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre made the decision to defer the strategic alliance between the two establishments which was to come into effect on July 5, 2013. At a board meeting yesterday, the decision was made to no longer pursue this alliance but to maintain instead its focus on the intention to merge with the MAB‐Mackay Rehabilitation Centre.

MAB‑Mackay makes Accessibility its Priority during White Cane Week
Le MAB‑Mackay tells a story of perseverance, innovation and triumph over adversity. This will be highlighted on the morning of Monday, February 4th by a not-to-be-missed presentation of a landmark case dealing with accessibility to documents by the visually impaired.

Potential Voluntary Merger between MAB‑Mackay Rehabilitation Centre and Constance-Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre
Both organizations have started a process that is aimed at a possible merger. With the support of the Agence de la santé et des services sociaux de Montréal for this initiative, we have continued with various discussions around the strengthening of clinical service continuums and exploring partnership opportunities.
